REBUILD 2027: how to get the most out of exhibiting
A guide for REBUILD 2027 exhibitors (Madrid, March): what the exhibitor list shows, who visits the stand and how to prepare lead capture and follow-up.
REBUILD is the building trade fair and congress focused on industrialised construction, digitalisation and sustainability, organised by Nebext. The 2027 edition, marking its tenth anniversary, is announced for 16 to 18 March 2027 at IFEMA Madrid (always check dates and rules on the official website). This guide does not describe the fair: it explains how to prepare your participation so that every contact at the stand gets a follow-up.
What you can see in the exhibitor list
When the official website was consulted on 1 November 2026, the linked exhibitor list was the 2026 edition's; the 2027 list had not been published yet. That list can be filtered by area: building systems, building envelopes, cladding and finishes, materials, timber, climate control, lifts, bathroom, kitchen, interiors and lighting, and BIM and technology. Each entry shows the stand. For 2027, the organiser expects more than 800 exhibiting companies and more than 36,000 professionals; for 2026 it reported 32,487.
Even though it is last year's, the list is useful twice over: it tells you who you will share the hall with (competitors, complementary systems, possible partners) and helps you decide whom to invite to your stand. When the 2027 list is published, go through it again.
Who usually walks by the stand
- Developers, who decide schedule, budget and building system.
- Contractors, who buy and build.
- Architects, building surveyors and engineers, who specify materials and solutions.
- Interior designers, for bathrooms, kitchens, lighting and finishes.
- Installers and distributors.
These are the profiles the organiser lists. In building, a product is usually specified months before it is bought: one contact from a design studio that visits your stand can be worth more than a one-off sale. If you are one of the contract furniture manufacturers or make finishes, interior designers and hotel or residential developers are your priority audience.
A timeline for REBUILD 2027
- November and December: decide your goal (specifications, meetings with developers, distributors), go through the list and choose your target accounts. Settle your offer before Christmas.
- Early January to mid-February: a window to build the full system (page, stand kit, messages) with margin for printing: about 10 to 4 weeks before 16 March. With the holidays in between, order printing early (how far ahead to prepare).
- Late February and early March: tests, team briefing and invitations to your target accounts.
- 16 to 18 March: capture with permission and daily alerts to your salesperson.
- Late March and April: 30-day follow-up and report. Easter week (22 to 28 March) falls right at the start: schedule messages for before and after those days.
Capturing contacts with permission
Specifiers walk past many stands and decide later, back at the studio. A QR code with a useful offer and a short form with a consent box give you their contact details and the basis to write to them later (how to do it step by step). This is not legal advice: check the consent wording with your adviser.
Offer ideas for this fair
- Technical sheets and BIM objects for your products, ready to drop into a project.
- Performance data that projects ask for (insulation, fire behaviour, durability) on one clear sheet.
- A site case (with the customer's permission) with real timings and data.
- A short guide to construction details or installation.
Segment the follow-up
Writing to an architecture studio, a developer or an installer does not work the same way. Prepare a short version of your first message for each and apply a 30-day sequence. If someone replies, the sequence stops and a person on your team takes over. With specifiers, the goal for the first month is to get into a specific project, not to close an order.
What you can do and what we can do
If you exhibit at REBUILD 2027 and want lead capture and follow-up ready, we set up your trade fair lead follow-up with your brand, your catalogue and your messages, from the stand page to the 30 days after. If you are already back and have the cards, we do the follow-up only. If you manufacture, this is how we approach customer acquisition for manufacturers.
